The mission of the Associate in Applied Science Business degree is to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge in fundamental business concepts including accounting, business math, management, customer service, finance, and marketing to gain entry-level employment in a variety of business enterprises.

The Associate in Applied Science Business program of study is designed for students preparing for professional positions of responsibility at a variety of business enterprises. The program offers courses in accounting, business math, management, customer service, finance, sales, marketing, human resource management, and professional development. Students complete an internship in an approved business where they gain practical experience. Program requirements can be completed in four semesters of full-time study or on a part-time basis. The program is not designed for college transfer, although some courses may transfer with approval from four-year institutions.
